Fossil Hunting and Jewelry Making
We have finally been having some nice weather on weekends where we had some free time which allowed us to head back down to Chesapeake Beach, MD this past weekend and hunt for more fossilized shark teeth. This trip was our largest haul yet, we found 60 teeth and a few other miscellaneous pieces of things (I am pretty sure Rachel found a part of a fossilized crab claw). This time I took some pictures of the beach and us using my sieve to sift through shells and sand for teeth. Here are some pictures of the day and our growing collection.
Here are some pictures of our growing collection of teeth. Included are some pictures of some jewelry I have started to make with the teeth. Rachel has her own set of shark teeth earrings and a necklace with approximately 10 teeth in a tiny jar. I have another jar for sale up on a (relatively) new Etsy page which can be found here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/181151565/fossilized-shark-tooth-necklace
